Refund Policy

REFUND POLICY

Who we are. RunnerSource.net is operated by Sparky1 LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”).

This Refund Policy applies to (a) optional donations made through RunnerSource.net and (b) paid Ultimate Edition subscriptions.

1) Summary (quick reference)

  • Donations: Optional and generally non‑refundable, except for duplicate, mistaken, or unauthorized charges (or as otherwise required by law).

  • Ultimate subscriptions (monthly/yearly): You may cancel at any time to stop future charges. Unless required by law, we do not provide prorated refunds for partial subscription periods.

  • Billing errors: If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will review promptly.

2) Donations (Optional Donation to Support Newsletter)

2.1 Nature of donations.
Donations are voluntary support payments and are not required to receive the free newsletter.

2.2 Refunds for donations.
Donations are generally non‑refundable. However, we will review refund requests for situations such as:

  • duplicate charges;

  • incorrect amount charged due to a technical error; or

  • unauthorized use (after you have contacted your bank as appropriate).

If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method.

2.3 Processing fees.
Payment processors may not return processing fees on refunded transactions. If processor fees are not returned to us, the refunded amount may be reduced accordingly, and in some cases may be $0 where fees exceed the donation amount.

3) Ultimate Edition Subscriptions (Monthly / Yearly)

3.1 Cancellation.
You may cancel your subscription at any time using the available account controls or by emailing legal@runnersource.net. Cancellation stops future renewals and charges and typically remains active through the end of the current billing period.

3.2 Refunds.
Except as required by law, we do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods (for example, if you cancel mid‑month or mid‑year).

3.3 Billing errors.
If you believe you were charged after cancellation, charged the wrong amount, or otherwise charged in error, contact us and we will investigate. If we confirm an error, we will issue an appropriate refund.

4) Chargebacks vs. Refund Requests

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank, we generally cannot process a parallel refund for the same transaction while the dispute is pending. Please contact us first so we can attempt to resolve the issue quickly.

5) How to request a refund or report a billing issue

Email legal@runnersource.net and include:

  • the email used at checkout,

  • transaction date and amount (and any transaction ID if available), and

  • a short description of the issue.

If a refund is approved, it will be returned to the original payment method. Timing depends on the bank/payment provider.
